Never knew you could. I think I would have and use a remain only cuz a new axle is $$$$.
Please update if new axle fix it. I mean it's the only thing you haven't tired

I am at the point, I am so fed up with it, I am not going to chance another reman.
I just did a bunch of other work to it as well...new alternator, brake booster & master cylinder, ball joints, rebuilt the coilovers, all new bushings in the control arms, redid the rear axle bearings and seals, carrier bearing on the driveshaft went out screwing up the yoke...had that rebuilt and balanced. Oh yeah, valve covers were leaking fixed those too...
So what is another $500?

ha! *sigh* With all the repairs/waiting on parts to come in, the truck has been down for 6 weeks...I just want it finished at this point. I still have to take it in to get it aligned and new tires slung on.
Should be pretty fresh feeling after all that.
Think I just dumped nearly $4000 into a truck that is maybe worth $6000 if I am lucky. Beats paying $30K+ for a new one though.
It now has 282K miles on it...with very little repairs before that...this truck has been stellar, so I don't mind keeping it going a little bit longer,
it feels like an old friend now. It just needed some TLC.
