Nice that you can hit 'em with a 2x4 or shoot at them, any pics or vids that show how the light output compares to conventional Halogen or HID lights.

I'd be very interested to see how the 10" stacks up against something like the LightForce 240 or Hella Rallye 4000 HID.

Here's some lumen specs but t doesn't cover beam pattern comparison to HID or halogens.

Apparently Rigid Industries acquired Holder Off-Road which developed these light bars. The original Holder Off-Road website had photos showing light beam patterns and comparisons to HID. But the Holder website now is just a link to Rigid. However the article below shows some of the photo comparisons.

I believe Holder uses LEDs from Seoul Semiconductor. Here's some details on their Z-power LED. But you'd need Holder's reflector design to get the performance.

As with the Vision X design if they could get a bit more distance reach out of these lights we could seriously consider running them sans HIDs.

Those are cool. US made?

The LEDs themselves come from Seoul Semiconductor (Korea), with the extrusions coming from China. They are looking at bringing everything domestic in the near future.

Correct, the LED's them selves are from Seoul Semiconductor in Korea.

Nice to see they're slightly cheaper than VisionX. Do they offer anything bigger than 40"? VisionX offers a 50 incher. Im thinking about mounting a full width up on top of the SMB roof. I just have to see if i can sell a kidney first.

We should be able to get on custom made for you, shoot me an e-mail of your measurements and I can get you a quote.

Well Holder Off-Road did offer a 50" light bar made with 5 10" LED segments. So I assume Rigid would do the same. You could always combine a 10" with the 40" or get a 20" and a 30".

BTW, Holder was based in Irvine.

I can get a 50" bar, it is a combination Flood/Spot with 12" of flood reflectors on the outsides of the light and 26" of spot reflectors on the inside half of the light. This will optimize both functional light spread and light distance for increased viability.

Plan on making a doctor's appointment to sell your kidney though, price is $1825 + shipping.

That actually sounds perfect Wil. Hmm... let me see if i can get really drunk and write the check,.. that way i won't remember how much i spent on it! :sombrero:

I want to see one of these in action. I can't just picture them being bright as regular offroad lights. Are their pictures of these being used at night?
