he also has a slide out the rear but much more than I want to do
also he is going to put his batteries where I want mine to go but he made separate boxes

I had considered putting a battery on each side back there too but decided against it for now. I like the idea of putting weight back there so that more ready-access material can go in the nose ---- but the fridge lives back there, could spark, and batteries will outgas... ...so sealing the box against the interior was a good move for him.this is a good thread with a very heavy modified setup

I had joined that site a while ago and saw his thread once before; the Dutch hurts my head though.
That looks like a much better kitchen setup, nice! Did you run into any trouble flipping the bracket stay around?
I was able to plumb my water tanks together last night along w/ an on-demand flojet pump. I'm still undecided where to locate quick disconnects though. My initial thought would be one quick disconnect per each side of the trailer; one for the kitchen and the other for showers, etc.
Any suggestions from those with plenty of camping/trailer trips under their belt?

The pump is a FloJet LF122202, or something It was provided from the PO, but never setup or used. Sticker on it states it flows 1.1gpm and is automatic/ondemand. Quick testing looks promising!
I mounted the pump inside the trailer, to the drivers side of the fridge drawer via rivets through the pumps rubber feet. I'm hoping to keep it protected from the mud and rocks it will see on the trails, but I'm already having second thoughts about whether I should have left it down on the frame, hmmm.
I have an inline water filter enroute and will be installed inside the trailer as well. I'm thinking about adding an eccotemp tankless water heater, but first need to figure out where I could mount

Input line nice and sealed up. You can also barely see the 4 rivets poking through via some silicone sealer:
Pump in it's current position. Don't mind the loose wiring and output hose, those still need final adjustments

the rear of your tanks look dif than mine ?
is the valve able to drain all the water from the tank looks like tis part way up ?
I keep going back and forth on the heater myself I have a coleman one and it works nice
I had also though of putting the pump outside underneath between my two tanks as I have more room with my model underneath and keeping all hoses outside just in freak chance one leaks
the new conquerors have a water pump up in the nose cone ? part of me thinks water spraying and electrical panel wont go well together ? so hard to say

Where did you get the adaptors for the valves? What size/thread pitch? I removed mine and took them to the local ACE hardware and none of the threads would match up.

Actually the PO had those in a box of goodies along with the pump, so I was able to cheat a lil bit :ylsmoke: Maybe give Home Depot a quick try, they have a huge selection of garden/plumbing/pipe adapters.
Oh, and if I had to guess they are around 5/8s. On my setup it then adapts to 3/4, the typical garden hose size. Then I have an adapter to the 3/8's hose I ended up using.
So far I'm able to shoot a 4-5 ft stream of water via this setup. For some reason, my dog doesn't like hanging around the trailer anymore :elkgrin:

I got my adapters at 3-Way Campers in Marietta. The guy there bent down, took a quick look at them, stuck a finger in, and ran right to his shop and got them.
I've found that I have to tip the trailer backward to get to the last couple of gallons in our tanks.

The bracket flipped around just fine. I had to have someone hold it for me while I drilled the first couple of holes. I get to those boxes a lot more so it is nice to have the access. I am going to get some kind of camp table to take with us and cook on because I hate the grease spraying on the trailer when I am making bacon. I think that I will use it more like a prep area and them turn around to cook on the table. Not sure yet, just a thought.

Has anyone upgraded or replaced the thin, metal cable door supports? My trailer is missing one on the rear lower fridge door while a couple on my kitchen side were changed to a chain replacement by the PO.
Has anyone upgraded any of these to gas struts yet, like the rear, upper fridge door?
