Charging questions v2
So I am in the last days before my 3 week trip to Nova Scotia and PEI
My Conqueror battery appears to be dead and I am replacing it asap... now I realize that my first week will be camping without electric service, so I am thinking of how to charge the battery while I drive.
I have a aux power outlet I installed in the bed of my truck to run my fridge. Could I just run wire for a plug in that to the trailer's battery while I drive?
Could I plug in my inverter and use my battery tender charger? Is that safer?
If needed, should I pull the battery and place it in my truck's bed with the above set-up? I assume I would need to make some kind of tie down or box for that to be safe...
We do not use a lot of juice while camping... just a fan at night and the 12v light in the tent as we turn in, so it may not even be needed, but my idea seemed easy as a back-up idea....
ps Dendy, I was wrong, I do have a Panasonic in the trailer, I am getting it tested today! Let me know what you ended up with!
