Question. I have a small Sankey miltary trailer I pull behind my defender. The thing gets beat to death with rocks, mud etc that kick out of the KM2's. I love what you have done with this trailer-its awesome; just curious if you have the same problem and how you are planning to keep it nice ?

ha ha ha ha, yeah , well i think the only way to keep it looking nice is to park it in the garage and never bring it out again lol !

or stay on the highway and only camp in campgrounds and rv parks...... NOT !!!

seriously though i didnt have too much of a problem with it when it was olive drab , the fenders did a good job of keeping the brush from rubbing anything ,and the basket on the front makes a pretty good deflector as well,
my old jeep, and the trailer were both rattle canned, i banged that thing thru the bush pretty hard and when it got scratched up i bought a few more cans,
i will be careful for the first little while

i know it will get scratched , i am expecting it, and when it gets bad a few yrs down the road , i will prolly take it apart and do it again,

oh yeah , my fenders are just bolted on as well .so if they were to get beat up or damaged , i can have them both off in about 10 mins,

Better be careful with that setup. Tourists are going to start coming up there to see your ride instead of the falls.

If anything is 'wrong' then I'm guessing you just set the RTT on the lid for a picture and it's not actually secured to the trailer.

Otherwise that is freakin' nice! The trailer's black trim perfectly matches the hardtop and all the trim on your Jeep. That is a seriously slick-looking pair now. Can't wait to see some pictures from the road someday. Well done!
