    New Bronco

I think this is exactly the marketing issue people are concerned about. The Bronco has had some serious hype for a while. Now we have Bronco Sports driving around.

    Power Wagon vs F250 Tremor

I have a 2018 PW with RAM boxes. Originally, I had my air compressor and most of my recovery gear in the driver's side and I kept the passenger side pretty empty for groceries, etc. Somehow, I wound up with my tire chains, trekking poles, a PPE kit (ear plugs, eye pro, etc) in the passenger...

Eating crow....2018 Ram Power Wagon build

I normally go for low key as well. When I finally decided on a Power Wagon, I was sure it would be a Laramie That said, I am and always will be a child of the 70s and 80s. My grandparents' neighbor had a Macho Mango Power Wagon when Simon and Simon came out...my 2018 has the bed decals.

    New trucks and 4low...

Off road and slow, I can't disagree with this enough... ...unless you have 4LO.

People think pulleys increase pulling power.

Most of the diagrams don't show the relationship between the winch and the pulley. The "moveable pulley" diagrams reflect what is taking place: Assuming the pulley is anchored to a tree, a winch pulling with 5N of force exerts 10N on the tree. This is where people underestimate the...

Amazed at how much green is in the Panamints right now. I've never seen anything like it.

    Ram 2500/3500 Info

The good news: even with the linkage disconnected, you can still crawl under the truck and shift it into 4wd. Of course, if there are 2 feet of snow on the ground you are getting wet. Ask me how I know.

    Ram 2500/3500 Info

A Laramie with the PW package (22P I think) would not have any decals, but would have "Power Wagon" on the tailgate. Unfortunately, the winch is often removed and sold separately.

2017 Ram Power Wagon - Tradesman

As long as it is a Crew Cab, 6.5' bed gasser (with the 6.4), you can add the Power Wagon Package on a Tradesman. It gets you front and rear lockers, front sway bar disco, softer suspension with a 2" lift, and factory winch. Until mid 2017 you could do the same with a Laramie.

    1989 jeep yj □|||||||□

The wife and I have been very happy with our YJ. We have about 203K on it so far. If it hasn't been done already, swap to an external slave cylinder for the clutch at your earliest convenience. My original slave cylinder got about 180K. My 4th one just went out in the last 20K. 2 were...

Eating crow....2018 Ram Power Wagon build

My 2018 is completely stock. I averaged 11.9 towing 4.1K from Florida to California. Best tank of gas has been 16.1 (all highway). Lately I have been in the low 11 MPG range, but I have been off road a fair amount.
