Please! nissan, for the love of god get rid of those molded in to the sheet metal fender flares! I don't know why, but I just don't like them. Did not like the flares on the D21 or D22, but they were removable. Not so much on the D40.

Just the sides, had to build a new tub so the width was where I wanted it. Now I just have to stretch the rear axle back 4" and call it done.

I carry spare front axle shafts with u-joints, hubs, spindle bearings, alternator, starter, fuses, belts driveshafts and of course a tire. I used to carry a distributer but ended up having to use it. I'll get another soon. I like to carry parts that if go bad would stop the fun. Lator....

I just wonder why/if a stainless steel drum would be better for the synthetic? My winches are outside all the time and thus exposed to the elements. Every time I do routine maintenance, I notice more and more surface rust on the drum. Yes I sand it down and repaint when the flakes are big, but...

I'm researching sliders for a project. Do you happen to have the part/model numbers for these? Also when you say 500# capacity, is that at full extension? Being new to the whole slider idea, could you elaborate on how the locks work? Sorry for all the newb questions, I just want to be sure thse...
