    FG's in Action

hahah lol .. people wont notice but I had to cut out the big pointy rock on the southern side of the entry to Palm otherwise would have hit as you went into the rut ... The real struggle the year we went was Scrubby Creek .. yeah I know .. but it came over the bottom of the windscreen .. that's...

Who makes the 17" rims for ISUZU NPS truck?

Thanks for that ... my truck is comparatively light at 4250kg so it should glide over sand .... I'm not sure that the 17s are all that smaller as they have a much taller sidewall so I think about the same rolling diameter and I do air my 19.5s down to ~20psi on sand but I do worry about rolling...

Who makes the 17" rims for ISUZU NPS truck?

Thanks for that info , my ATW scout is only 4250kg so I dont have any weight issues at all . that is an All Terrain Warrior rim (hence the ATW) so it looks like they are making them themselves .. I will have to ring them to see how much they are .. I want to swap from my 19.5s down to 17" ...

Chip for 5.2l Isuzu nps 300

Hmm tried Steinbauer and then did the retune: no comparison! Tune makes a completely different truck, no dpf, do burns, cleaner more efficient engine with 2x the torque low down and 20-30% better fuel! As to the effect it might have on engine not worried about that, the same engine is used to...

Experience With Preparing ISUZU NPS Camper: Running Gear

OK finally have one last modification to report: long range fuel tank. The modification was done by Ric Black at Out of Town 4WD near Newcastle. Let me say at the outset I have been very careful not to recommend people who have done work on this truck as I do not think we want the forum to...

Experience With Preparing ISUZU NPS Camper: Body

Just one final addition when not carrying the trusty KTM: His and hers matching fat bikes :-) PS if you are up in North QLD u must do the classic bike tracks up there (Bump track etc) even if on hired bikes, just awesome riding.

Experience With Preparing ISUZU NPS Camper: Suspension

Well this is probably the last instalment on the NPS suspension saga and the suspension is about as good as it can possibly be. It handles big G outs at 120kmh on the road and yet we have 1m+ or articulation off road. We just did about 50% of the OTL in the Cape and did not have an issue...
