I have shortened The body between the back door and the windshield area and to help even out the tongue weight I am building a double swing out bumper that weighs quit q bit. I think the tongue weight will be spot on.
I built a sub floor frame out of 1x2 square tubing that tubs out the floor...
Very nice to see your report on your trips, with your fab skills I would like to see what you would do with taking a Xj and turning it into a hard shell tear drop camper like I have been working on. It would work great in bear country. And tow nicely behind any rig. I wish I would get back to...
Really enjoyed looking through your work on your mj, I have a 91 xj, they both are a very nice platform for both wheeling and overland travel. Keep up the great work!
It's the way things go with projects that have to do with our hobbies, life just gets in the way and it's hard to get back into a rhythm of working on it. Looking forward to updates also.

I have been working on the bumper for my trailer that will have a swing out tire carrier that has a receiver hitch in it so I can swing everything out of the way. This trailer doesn't have a roof top tent but may have one when everything is said and done. The plan is to also put two receiver...
That is nice! Is that an exhaust fan against the front? I was hoping I could store a propane bottle inside my box with the batteries and system but that looks like it takes up all the space you have? maybe I'll have to mount my box to one side and put the propane bottle on the outside. Probably...
That a Max Coupler, is newer version I bought my Max Coupler a year ago yours has those wing tips (probably helps hitch it back together). That looks like you can go almost anywhere now?? Nice!
