Not terribly common. Remember that the US was never a friendly market for smaller diesel vehicles, at least not as much as Europe and Latin America. Now wit hate VW debacle, I would think even less for the "common" people...

That picture does communicate the mental struggle quite beautifully. I don't know enough to try to convince you one way or the other. All I know is I will continue to follow it regardless with great interest!

I have watched some videos from CTEK and read a bit online, and as far as I can tell, it adds more charging power from 20A to 80A. So, if you have more panels, more batteries, etc, you would benefit from that. Awesome photos as always, specially the last one!

Even if the people at CTEK did not reply to you, this story really caught my attention. When I initially saw it on your thread, I thought the CTEK was a fancier solenoid. I started to look more into the D250S and it's an incredible device. Not only does it help charge the batteries more...
