You mean 2" more than the 2.5" I already have from my rods? If so that would defeat one of the purposes of the spacers...hmm.

OK so when you say, "it hits the bump stops" you're referring to the strut length and the EASs ability to detect that length by the air pressure/volume in the bag.
So the correct solution is to use IIDTool to modify the access height setting to be just a few mm higher than what's considered...

I'm a little confused by what you are saying b/c as Lucky8 states the spacer does not adjust affect the height. Therefore, the height sensor should only be affect by the rods. The spacers are only affecting the strut length. And if I'm not mistaken ppl with just rods have no problem going to...
Unfortunately I experienced the same issue. I went to lower and it detected an obstruction and went into extended mode. I was then able to get return to normal height. It has to be the angle, but getting my lower strut in line to insert the bolt was no big deal - so I'm not sure.
Also Zelatore was spot on with using a lubricating spray for the 15mm bolts that come with the kit. I used Liquid Wrench silicone spray before installation and anytime I had to remove bolts during the process (yeah I got ahead of myself a few times).
