I find myself relocating to an area where offloading is not much of a thing so I am reluctantly selling my rig. I am selling my rig AS-IS and not parting it out.

So I finally finished my rear cargo setup with help from my stepdad. It is modeled after Pfunk 's setup which I saw when he came to pickup some FJ stuff I sold him.

Since the form...
My last daily driver had an incredible sound system in it but I sold the vehicle before moving out west. I really loved the ride and the sound but the vehicle was built for the autobahn and not for offroad exploration.
I recently added an OEM Audio Plus system to my rig and my expectations...
I recently added a PRG pre-cleaner to my snorkel to cut down on the dust intake. I empty the bowl when airing up. It also keeps rain from going down the snorkel. At some point I may replace this with a Donaldson TopSpin pre-cleaner that automatically ejects 85% of the dust.
Yes, I have seen them mounted horizontally as well. Another option may be to mount them between the roof and the rack to save space (doesn't work with all racks). I have also seen them mounted behind roof light bar in an air dam like configuration (probably requires custom brackets).
Given that your RTT and awning are taking up eligible rack positions I think you best bet is to either modify your Trasharoo to accommodate the trax or to mount them on the tire behind the Trasharoo as shown in the example photo below.
I have a newer low profile BajaRack and I am using Fourtreks mounts plus Maxtrax mounting pins for my Maxtrax. If I get a RTT, I plan to rotate the mounts 180degrees opposite so that they lay on the side of the roof so that they do not take up any space on top.
