A few pics from a beautiful fall day yesterday in our new to us, '06 Double Cab 4wd.
Only a few minor addtions so far but there's not much life left in these tires so a lift and larger rubber are in the pipeline over the next few months. :wings:

Haggis - I'm putting together a build plan for our DC Tundra and considering the 5100s up front at the top setting to allow for 285s. Given the miles you've got on them now do you have plans to change them out anytime soon and if so would you buy another set or go with a different set up?
I...
First off, congrats on choosing an AWESOME truck. We truely love Tundra! That being said I think your price ~$17K is pretty close to the market given the low mileage on the truck and the warranty. For comparisions we bought '06 DC TRD 4wd with 65K and the remainder of the Toyota CPO warranty...
Just want to say thanks for all the help an input from you guys. I DID end up with the '06 DC Tundra. We closed the deal a few weeks back but I've been so busy with work and traveling I haven't had the time to post.
The truck is GREAT, we are really enjoying it and the wife is warming up to...
wildmed,
For what it's worth I ran 15x7 Crager Soft 8's with 33x10.5 BFG KM1s on my '01 Tacoma. I DID have to shave/grind the calipers a bit for them to fit but it wasn't that hard and several guys have done it over on TTORA. Common sense tells me if 15's fit with caliper shaving a set of...
Agreed, however I should rephrase my question. There's not much info on the net from guys running this set up and as such I was merely seeking any real world experience with this hybrid kit from other members.
Haha...yes I have the spending other people's money problem as well. We "shook" on a deal last night at $19,400. I'm happy, the wife's happy, and he's happy....what else could you ask for?
Finishing up everything over the next couple of days so I should have the truck by the end of...
Agreed!
The SUVs definately have certain advantages that are nice, like 7 seats, but at the end of the day the Tundra fits our needs the best. After spending most of the weekend looking at and driving a few Commanders (which are super nice vehicles) we've decided to pursue the '06 Tundra DC...
Well......no updates yet. I did talk to the current owner again yesterday I feel certain I can walk away with the truck for $19,500, which I'm comfortable paying. BUT, the wife has me looking at 7 seater Jeep Commanders and SE7 Disco IIs, which aren't bad options either, but they're no Tundra...
Thanks Jim - the truck has the LSD sticker/tag on the rear diff cover so I'm assuming it has the unit. I did notice the factory trans cooler mounted in front of the radiator on the truck as well. Again, more reasons to buy it! :wings:
I'm plan to talk to the seller again today and hopefully...
