I think if they were to make an upgrade to the Flippac it would be to have the roof open towards the rear instead of over the front of the vehicle. That way you would have instant awning.

You are correct in that the front ends from 2003 to 2007 (not sure about 2007.5 and on) have AAM 9.5. The rear ends however all(2500 & 3500) have AAM 11.5 if the truck has the Cummins motor.
