What about typical repairs? For example, wranglers have crappy radiators and typically go around 90k, the vent controls go, the ignition switch goes. And I feel like the list goes on and on. Im learning about this head gasket issue with the 4.5. What other common issues exist?

Hello everyone, Ive gotten interested in building an off road camping trailer to pull with my jeep and Demented Toys' air compressor trailer idea sounds fantastic. Does anyone have a source for these? Ive looked at ebay and craigslist and for the most part they area all functional compressors...

If money wasnt a barrier. Id drop the lift down to like 4inch max. 33x10.5 inch tires, powertrax up front, OX in the back with a D44. Hard top. Removable winch with a front hitch mount. Above tire cargo rack. ARB snorkel. Rocker Guards and a tummy tuck.

I dont think it matters whether you have a 4.0 or a 2.5, the snorkel would be the same. Maybe Im missing something, but even if it was able to use a different one, I dont see why a 4.0L snorkel wouldnt work. What do you mean when you say, "Travel Friendly"? Cause if you're talking really long...

If you have a dana 35 rear end, from what I understand you should be careful with how much skinny pedal you use. That axles is said to be weak. Especially if you're running 32s, a locker may be a bad idea. Another thing to consider is if you daily drive the jeep, it may kinda become a pain...

Do you want carb? Or fuel injection? Thats the other question to look at.

As far as Wranglers you're looking at TJs. You will be darn lucky to find a rubi in that price range. You'd be lucky to find a 4.0L that is younger than 2003 in that price. Look for a low mileage 01-03 4.0L, You can find em built up as well which could save you money if you're wanting to build...
