    Rebuilding Fox 2.0 Shock

Wow, the depth of knowledge on this site vast. I have been tinkering on some Fox 2.0 remote reservoirs for the rear of my Jeep. I bought them from a place that does custom valving and they missed terribly. The pistons were drilled 2 bleeds with a #59 bit and that seems too much. It seems to...

On and Off Off Road Trailer Build

Thanks, I have had the springs on top and on bottom. The springs seem a little soft and will end up over the axle or replaced. I won't know until it is finished and loaded. I have looked at airbags as a helper too. It might be nice to vary individual ride height similar to a Bruder.

On and Off Off Road Trailer Build

I am at a point that I can get 3 or 4 weeks off at a time and want to spend it in the wild. I have seen much of the country and that makes me want to see the rest! We spent quite a bit of time in Colorado when I was young, but we were somewhat limited where we could go by the vehicles we had...

    Thinking Refrigerator..

I like my chest fridge. To me not having to worry about things getting down in the melted ice is nicer than worrying about if I have enough ice. With a chest type there seems to be a lot less movement of things, especially if you get off the maintained roads. Vertical fridges also waste more...

    Mounting Valtera water tank

I'm finally getting back to work on my trailer and got the tank mounted. I plan to glue the padding to the tank to keep dust from getting under the padding and make sure it doesn't shift. There will be a stop on the floor on each side to to keep it from moving side to side. I'll be starting a...

    Rath's Trailer build - We're done!!!

I think you are OK on the shackles. Longer leafs with more arch makes the shackles a little more critical.

    My M716 DIY Build

I have not used this faucet yet, but seems good quality. I have seen faucets like this mounted on the back wall of the sink. As tall as your box is you could use a much deeper sink and make it practical, but those sinks get expensive...

    Trailer tires wearing uneven

I don't see a 3500 lbs axle flexing at less than half, maybe closer to a third of it's rating.

    Trailer tires wearing uneven

Camber and toe are the two things you need to measure. A stick axle doesn't even need to be level to check camber since you are only verifying they are not tipped in at the top. A digital angle finder is the easiest method for measuring camber, but can be measured with a bubble level and some...

@tte30m3 Did you strip the mill scale before the POR-15? How is the paint and Raptor liner holding up?

    Setting up shocks

@old_CWO 555003 Monroe's? What springs are you using? I am using Chevy Colorado springs. They are around 51" long and allow good travel. My plan is to mock it up with only the main leaf to allow me to easier ratchet strap it down to full compression. Then configure the shock mounts to...

I'm at the point of my build that I need to mount my shocks. Can you share your suspension? What springs? Shocks? Shock mounts?

    Insulation in expo trailer box

I am building a 48"x80"x34" trailer with an RTT. I am concerned about food and refrigerator efficiency in a hot environment.
