4x4 MAN Expedition truck for sale in Brasil

No, I don't think you can. I think you can buy a built-for-export-to-the-US version, but if it don't got the EPA compliant sticker and the NHTSA clearance, it won't be registerable. At least as far as I know.

Stephan Stewart has a new rig, and MAN, what a rig

Mr. Stewart, A humble welcome to Expo Portal. Having followed your travels on the web for a couple of years, I say you are one of my heroes. Best of luck with your new rig. Best of luck with your new travel partner, too, when you find her. (I momentarily considered a sex change operation so I...

Excellent question. I am going to pass on them as my money has burnt a hole in my pocket and been used elsewhere. A PM from the seller indicated that he was losing his storage 8-27-ish, so you may find him interested in selling. I never saw the boxes in person, but I have looked into them...

Kaya, The tel # you PM'd me seems unresponsive. Are you sure this setup is still for sale? (The coins are burning a hole in my pocket, and I need to get them to you before I spend them on something else). Will you please call or email me, or post up if the unit is no longer avail? Thx, Esmi

1978 VW Volkswagen Westfalia Campervan Expedition Bus

NoooooOOOoooooooo. Would Roy Rogers trade Trigger for a handful of coins? How about the Lone Ranger and Silver? This is quite a blow to those of us that have lived vicariously through your book and website... ... (Good luck with the sale ... and everything else) Esmi

    Another Earthroamer-type variation

Strangest dang thing, it NEVER happened to me in my dually dumptruck, until I read about it here on Expo. Now I have had a lodged rock on one occassion. Granted, it was only once, but that badboy was IN there -- I had to break it apart with the big hammer to get it out. I can see where it would...

    Jeep stalling question

Madizell, A tardy thank you for all that information! In the intervening week, my brother found that the PO of his new-to-him CJ-7 had leaned the carb waaaaay out to help it pass smog (in order to complete the sale). He and a smart friend have re-adjusted the carb back to right, and he assures...

Ex military 6x6 camper for sale Craigslist

Holy Toledo!!! That is neato. And I thought it was a screaming deal, too, until I saw that I mis-counted the number of zeros at the end of the price tag.

    Overlander Interview - Erwin Hofer

I love the prioritizing -- looks like good quality wine glasses tucked in there to keep a little civility on their tour. Good form. And thank you, Doug, for sharing.

    Jeep stalling question

Part II Wow. Thank you for the fast and consistent replies! Second question: Do you usually adjust your float with the little dinky hammer or the larger one? Let me rephrase that a little: Is a float adjustment something that the internet can teach me how to do in part of an afternoon; or...

    Jeep stalling question

Okay, this isn't quite an expedition question, but I am hoping others have encountered and resolved this issue, and can help me do the same. I have a a POS 1971 Jeepster that I like to crash around in. It does all right, until I get into the steep stuff, and then it has a stalling problem...

    Overlander Interview - Olivier Lecourt

Thanks for the interview, Doug. It must be a European thing, but how come their bottle opener is mounted sideways? Also, why do they need eight of them on one side for a family of four? That seems like overkill, even for overlanders. Esmi

Locked Hitch Pin - Need Removal

Uh, yeah, don't force it, just get a bigger hammer. I have had good success beating them apart. Failing that, a good lock shop will have a ring of keys cut that you can try and try and one will likely open it. If it gets to be too big a deal, PM me and I will take the SMB off your hands.

    International Harvester Four Wheel Camper

Have I got a deal for you Neat project. I have the next body style older of International 4x4 pickup sitting behind my barn. It is a piece of cr*p. My mechanic (who's truck it is) is going to harvest the motor/trans (a Mustang transplant that he has another use for) and roll the rest of the...

    sprinter mpg

I just drove 502 miles on 23.6 gallons in my 2006 Sprinter 140" low top. Mainly in-town driving. None (sadly) off road. I HATE having to swipe my card twice (the pumps here are set to stop at $100. And with diesel at $5.09 ... ... well.)
