1992 Dodge W250 Cummins / VW Vanagon Abomination *MAY CAUSE BLINDNESS*

This is intensely cool, I love it! Great vision, brilliant execution so far!

Np241c with sye vs np205 swap

241 will actually handle higher torque than a 205. The iron case of the 205 bounces off rocks better though. Also, don't bottom your front drive-shaft slip yoke with a 241. It will break the case.

Need ideas for my new f350 build.

Snow bike is awesome. I have been watching a bunch of videos on them. Very cool. And, I really like your truck. Very functional. Superb! Where did you get the jack?!

AEV SALTA WHEELS WITH 37" MICKEY THOMPSON MTZ ON MY 3500 RAM

What ply rating are those tires? How many miles do you get out of them?

    Dodge Ram 3500 Overland Build

What converter did you go with Ozy? I absolutely hate the converter in my 04'. I am shopping now, but the dedicated diesel sites are nothing but a bunch of nut-huggers spewing bad info gleaned from other nut-huggers. I would like to hear from people that have actually laid money down, what did...

    Dodge Ram 3500 Overland Build

Really?! Funny how you sure had a different stance when people were telling you that about your RAM. It is good advice. Just didn't figure you would be the first to spew it in somebody else's thread. (funny, I just went looking for your thread on your dodge, and its gone. That's too bad.)

    "MultiSport MF" - 2008 Ford E350 v10 Quigley 4x4 Van

That there is a fantastic platform! I am a little jealous over here. And, I don't even care for Ford vehicles.

    1984 Dodge W350 Crew Cab

French it out the bed-side? But, you still have to get it under the frame somehow. Or possibly go through the frame? Box the frame, and weld a tube between the rail and box-plate? Why though? Other than more room for fuel between the rails behind the axle, what is wrong with running the exhaust...

    1984 Dodge W350 Crew Cab

Yea, the heat WILL kill the tire. Expect about 50% less life from that tire as the rest. The older the tire, the faster it will break down. That is not a prediction, or a "it might be harmful" statement. Its fact. Not to mention the soot covering the whole rear corner of the truck. Yuck!

    1984 Dodge W350 Crew Cab

Nice build. I like some of your "solutions". But, I feel obligated to warn you: your weed-burner exhaust will make short work of that tire behind it.

    New 1989 GMC Suburban project

Your sleeping platform/storage area is brilliant. I saved all your pics of it for future reference. Great job!

    Decision time Ford or Dodge

That is exactly what I am telling you. I hate driving that era Dodge. They wander all over the road. They feel like they are falling apart. There is more to it than just the "ride". There is the perceived ride. Not to mention the fact that I despise the unit-bearings, and Center Axle Disconnect...

    Decision time Ford or Dodge

I am a Dodge guy all the way to the core. Hard-core dodge guy. I have been driving 72'-93' Dodge trucks for over 30yrs. Even still, If 4x4 is not a concern, I would pick the Ford out of those two. Magnum engines never, ever got decent mileage. And the 318 will be no better than that 6.9 towing...

    Recomendations on tire size

I have 285/70/17 BFG AT's on an 04' F150 super-crew. They fit perfect with only a leveling spacer in the front. I wouldn't go much bigger without a gear change. The gas mileage is bad enough, I cant imagine with even bigger tires.

    Front Dana 60 from a 93' Dodge

Pretty sure all the full-size guys will know what this is. This may not be the ideal forum for selling a 1-ton axle. But the price is right, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to offer it up here. It needs brakes, and U-joints. Otherwise complete from hub to hub. 4.10 gears with an open diff. Factory...

    Full Size Dodge Thread

LOL, its not really much of an expo-rig. More of a daily driver. When we go camping we pull a 16ft enclosed trailer. So, it will be more of a daily-driver/tow-rig. (I know, who builds a ramcharger for a tow rig?! LOL) But, the build is here...

    GM's impressive new 6.2L V8

I have also driven the ecoboost. I was less than impressed. Towing a 16ft enclosed tandem axle trailer with one Yamaha Rhino, and camping gear loaded in it. It was waay underpowered. Struggled on climbs. And got crappy mileage. It is my neighbors truck. And I was very happy to be able to return...
