Source for external weatherproof 4x6 headlamp buckets?

I want to install some auxiliary 4"x 6" DOT-legal high/low beam headlamps on my Fuso FG truck. Most 4x6 lamps I've found are designed to mount into a 4x6 "bucket"that is already part of the vehicle and held in place with a retaining ring. I need to mount mine externally. Does anyone know of a...

Russell Speed Bleeders on Fusu FG?

Successfully installed the new hose, and bled the primary circuit. Per the procedure in the service manual, I removed the ABS fuse, but my gut feel says it probably would not have been necessary. Just to be cautious, I left the ABS fuse out for the drive south. Am back in Fairbanks now...

Russell Speed Bleeders on Fusu FG?

Question is, if I don't care about ABS, for now, until I get to a Fuso dealer, will bleeding the "primary system ( normal circuit)" alone, give me solid brakes? I see that the procedure for the ABS circuit does call for using the diagnostic system to trigger the ABS.

Russell Speed Bleeders on Fusu FG?

Has anyone installed Russell Speed Bleeders on their FUSO FG, and if so which version (P/N) did you use? Have to match both thread size and taper angle. I've used them on my motorcycles in the past, and they make bleeding the brake system easy and a 1-person job. This comes up now because I'm...

    FG's in Action

Do you think a ground anchor would have extricated you, assuming you had a winch on the front? I've practiced with my ground anchor, but have never had to use it "in anger", in a real situation.

    FG's in Action

The rig in the upper-left photo, has some type of roof-mounted luggage/gear box. Is there any way to find out whose rig that is, or what box that is? Commercially available? or custom built? Thanks, Doug
