Thanks! We haven't been able to figure out what she's mixed with. She seems about 90%+ vizsla...Coloring, size, stature, temperament, and she is a natural when working the fields for birds and pointing. All the retriever/vizsla mixes I've seen have had the black skin/noses with the red fur...

Nice! I love the new T4Rs, but similar to you, Outback fit the bill for our needs just as well and for significantly less money. We were able to get a brand new '14 2.5i base with a bunch of dealer installed upgrades at our request for less than $24k. Hard to beat that. I like the Foresters...

I can't offer any recommendations regarding the rack options, but I also went from an 80 Series to a Titan. I miss the 80, but the Titan is an awesome truck. Gas mileage is crap just like the 80, but the power, comfort, style and convenience with the Titan is superb. I love it!

I bought an '08 King Cab 4x4 SE with 76k miles for $15,900 in February and have put about 7k miles on it. The previous owner beat the hell out of it so it had some minor cosmetic issues and some severely worn suspension parts. Another common issue with the Titans is the front lower control arm...

That's why I quoted "low mileage" in my post. "Low mileage" to me means low mileage considering the age of the vehicle...basically an average of how many miles per year. 10-12k miles per year=average, 15k per year=high, 5-7k per year=low... I agree with you in that any 40k mile 80 series in...

It's hard to compare an 80 and 100 with a budget in mind. Although, I'm not sure how concerned you are with budget... You can get an incredibly nice "low mileage" 80 for $10k... A $10k 100 series (at least here in the midwest) gets you high miles and less than average condition for the age...

Any worries about people stealing your First Aid supplies if you leave the trailer unattended? Any measures taken to prevent theft?

I'm not sure how much your Cherokee is worth but an 80 series like you desire is probably anywhere in the $8,000-15,000 range depending on mileage, mods, condition, lockers, etc...

Thank you! But remember, the 2" of lift is over the saggy 160k miles springs. I'm guessing that the height with the OME zero lift springs is actually pretty close to (maybe just slightly above) where the height was when the truck was new and left the factory. Different shocks will not...
