The axle has some minor damage due to it being outside in New England plus it's the only way my wife will feel comfortable driving it across country without me. Plus the hubs bind a little and I'm not sure why. Disassembled it relubed it and everything along with it still having problems.

The Sheer Weight on the G is insane pushing 4 tons it could try but still think on the rubicon its going to have serious problems manuvering and never less the size of it is like driving an off road bus.

The make a Jeep wrangler deisel but it is only for sale in Europe also they make a conversion for it on http://www.bruiserconversions.com/ they also do other engine coversions also from what I hear they are going to offer a deisel engine in the Grands starting 2013/2014
