2000 Tundra build....or not to build

Right. Agree. I'd probably be looking at another Tundra (2010-2013) with 30K on the engine, so I wouldn't necessarily need to worry about buying more problems...but you never know. My 2014 Ram EcoDiesel was nothing but problems.

2000 Tundra build....or not to build

Yeah, that's a totally rational way of thinking about it. Maybe it's time for another Tundra. Thanks for the insights.

2000 Tundra build....or not to build

So here's a question nobody can answer but me, but I wanted to hear some opinions or experiences... I'm the original owner of a 2000 4x4 Tundra 4.7 with 235k miles on it. After beating my head on a wall by owning a Ford and Dodge diesel, I'm now considering sinking money into the Tundra. It's...

    Goal Zero Yeti 400 Experiences?

I just ordered one from Amazon. Is it safe to assume that it's the "new" Yeti 400? Any ideas on how to tell?

    Camper confusion

Yep. Compromising. I hear you on the 55mph issue. If I can find a system that allows for a (relative) easy on and off procedure, that will help.

    Honda Generator VS. Yeti 400

I think you're right. But I'm not sure how the ARB fridge would work with that. Does that mean that the generator would have to be running constantly in order to keep the fridge cold? If so, that seems a little much.

    Camper confusion

Yep, I had the intention of dismounting with regularity. So it sounds like that's not such a great idea. Thanks for the info.

    ARB fridge power

Hi, I'll be buying an 50 qt. ARB fridge this week for a week long trip. I'm unclear on what I'll need to power it through the week. Does anyone have any experience with these out in the field without the use of secondary car batteries? Thanks!

    Honda Generator VS. Yeti 400

I don't have dual batteries. So the only way I could charge them is via running the vehicle and charging them that way. But that doesn't sound that economical. Not sure...

    Camper confusion

Hi All, I'm patiently waiting for a new Ram 1500 diesel truck to arrive, and when it does, I need to outfit it with some gear. I'm looking to get either a camper or a trailer. My needs are that I want to "drop" the house wherever I camp, and use the vehicle separate of our living space to go...

    Honda Generator VS. Yeti 400

Can somebody breakdown the pros and cons of which system I should get for an 8 day excursion? I need to power electronics and possibly an ARB fridge, and I don't know whether I need a generator or the power pack. Noise won't be a factor, so I don't really care about that. Thanks for any help...
