    Jeeps on the Beach.

This wasn't an organised event of the scale of Jeep Beach Daytona, but was just a privately organised outing with a bunch of Jeep owners from around the Hunter Valley and Sydney area, for which I was lucky enough to get an invite. All up about 20 Jeeps turned up for the trip to Stockton Beach...

My JKUR Build: What and Why

Nice build. Are they solar panels on your bonnet, and if so, do you leave them there all the time when travelling? Any info on them?

    Trip report: Newnes State Forest

It's definitely a great place to visit around Newnes. We had a weekend trip down there in February and had a great drive around the place, certainly some different landscape. Hope you don't mind me tacking some photos of our trip on your report. Our campsite for the weekend. Most of this...

    My 2013 Unlimited Rubicon

Donny I'm not really a fan of LED light bars, as I've seen plenty of disappointing results with various brands, and was determined to get a set of D2 Dualys. I found these HID lights dirt cheap on Ebay and thought they'd do the job for a while. The light from these HID's isn't perfect by any...

Nice combination there, and should be very capable even when towing.

    My 2013 Unlimited Rubicon

Couple of jobs completed today. Had a log book service yesterday and played on the flex ramp at the shop that did the service. Was a good test of the suspension, and a good opportunity to check how all the components were working. This highlighted a few issues and so today I removed the...

    My 2013 Unlimited Rubicon

No worries at all. It wasn't hard to do, and the results put at ease any concerns I had about heat build up.

Yes I've been very happy with the Pentastar. It does get a bit thirsty if pushed along, but its good to have the power on tap when you need it.

2013 jk rubicon unlimited tire/suspension questions

I was able to run 33's with a cheap levelling kit (2" packers in front, 1" packers in rear). No rubbing and no scrubbing. The levelling kit also came with swaybar relocation brackets and longer links.

    My 2013 Unlimited Rubicon

These turned up yesterday. A set of 7" 55 watt HID driving lights, fitted but not wired up yet. Don't look too bad for $82.00 for the pair.

    My 2013 Unlimited Rubicon

Very excited about this next mod, and I haven't even got it yet. Finally bit the bullet and ordered an AEV Heat Reduction bonnet, and it arrives in its unpainted form on Friday. It's straight down to the panel shop to match the paint on my Jeep, and then hopefully it'll be sprayed and ready...
