Nice an simple, I like it!

I'm planning on mounting the tent high enough so that the top of it sits at the same height as the roof of the truck. Also it well sit centers on the truck to help from tree strikes.

This set up was a quick "need to get it done" set up, I am fabricating up a RTT rack system to put on it for a permanent set up... As for this set up: I took my old canopy clams mounted them on the truck. After that I took some Yakima cross bars I had laying around and laid them on the rails...

update 6/7/2010 This little weekend task turned into the biggest pain in the @$$! I learned when I bought the truck 2 years ago it spent it first few years in New York. And these few years of salt on the roads was enough to rust up all my hard wear. Day one: tired to remove I-bolts in leaf...

I just installed mine and they are smiling just fine... I would say you got a bad set or missed marked. I'll put some install photos up on my build thread tomorrow.

I'm about Half way there... ran into a lot of rusty bolts. I would recommend getting new front bolts for the leafs (had to cut them out) Truck is still sitting in the shop been to busy to get back on it however I did get the rear done. Tonight it's to coilovers! I'll have pics up tomorrow if...

Thanks! Hope to be in the shop Saturday morning to get the lift in maybe the snorkel to. The new rims have pushed out the tires a little more then the stock rims now it’s rubbing a ton!
