    '05 2500hd Rock/Rub Rails

The rails mount using (3) 5x5x1/4" plates and (1) 5x2 1/2x 1/4" plate on each side. They are triangulated both front and rear as well as up and down as I was able and still have access to the bolts. The round tubing is all .095 1 1/2", I'd have preferred .120 wall, and thought I'd replace it...

    '05 2500hd Rock/Rub Rails

Thanks for the kind words. Added some industrial stair tread tape, then painted over. Going to pull the whole rail assemblies off after the weekend trip for a final clean up, and paint. May end up doing bed liner. these are not the dents you are looking for [/jedivoice] less pinkish red:

    '05 2500hd Rock/Rub Rails

In this pic the front wheel is all the way off the ground and I'm jacking from about the center of one of the rub rails. I couldn't tell any appreciable difference in flex of the rails at all. Doors still open fine, gap on main rectangle tube still looks about the same etc. I think they'll work...

    Camper Shell Roof Racks

I modded the top rail on mine when I added a 52" led and limb risers. I'm very happy with the way it works all the way around.

What did you do to your Full Size today?

No pics, but replaced the rear screens in my camper shell. Not a big job, but a moderate pita if using crappy tools. If you plan on doing it, I suggest using a "good" bead rolling tool, not a cheap one (I thought I was only going to use it once, so don't spend the extra $) AND: get beading from...

    Camper Shell Roof Racks

Not sure, but it should be easy enough to extend with a bit of extra metal if needed. I owned Underground Mod Shop for a few years and set up at DDay for 4-5 years. Still have a ton of friends in paintball, but I don't get to play all that much anymore.

    Camper Shell Roof Racks

Thank you. And fwiw, if you want to go that route, HarborFreight has a similar rack to the KargoMaster, for about 1/3 the price. And you can use a 25% off coupon from most major car magazine ads to get it very cheaply. REF...

    Camper Shell Roof Racks

Mine is a modified KargoMaster. Originally it was for a high roof shell, but I lowered it 3" and sleeved/narrowed it 2", added a few 1" sq tube supports and expanded metal over the shell. It mounts to the top of the bed with flat plates that I cut/welded into 2x3" 1/4" angle that goes the length...

    Re-tread tires

I've had a set of Treadwright GuardDog 315/75/16's on my '05 chevy 2500hd for approx 1 year. They currently have approx 8k miles on them. Waited about 10 full weeks from order to delivery. They have molding imperfections that I was assured would not be an issue (and havn't been so far)...
