Thanks Justcuz. Have to admit I am back on the fence about Jeep vs. Burb. Can't shake it. Need to find a spare pile of cash laying around so I can keep both. When I drive the jeep I am all in. When I drive the Burb, I am all in. MAybe I put them BOTH up for sale and see what sells first... Maybe I talk to a psychiatrist - shut up, you all need to also :squint:

I have both. I drive the Jeep very infrequently and if there was no sentimental value to it, I would have sold it long ago.

It was just getting interesting! Actually you were right about the point I would have stopped except for sleeping arrangements.
The beauty of your decision is if you change your mind, there are still plenty of Suburbans out there.
Luckily for me, I am at a point in my life I can afford both. I wish you were too. There is a lot to be said for owning both vehicles.

Cannot keep both from a finance standpoint, so ... one of 'em has to go. We'll see how it shakes out. We are still driving the Burb for family outings... Without going into too much detail, the Jeep is the only vehicle I have ever bought that was exactly what I wanted and it was new enough that all the dings and bangs on it are mine... that is pushing me in this direction. That may change of course if:
1) The Suburban does not sell
2) One of you guys pony's up some cash so that I can keep up the Suburban experiment AND keep the jeep hahaha!

I am just so sorry to see such a fine `Burb´go up for sale. Unless of course you live in Canada and will sell it to me cheap! If you can afford it just let the truck rest or whatever untill you have funds to do some more. As you have already said the truck is a daily driver so maybe the family will just get to love the `Burb´!!

Right now I drive both Burb and Jeep. Wife likes the burb and we take it on family outings, like last weekend we went to the NC RV show and took it. It is a no brainer for trips. Comfy, safer (seemingly at least). All interest I have had from potential buyers has waned at the moment. I am not willing to give it away, so for the time being I can enjoy both. We will see how it shakes out.

Sold this rig today. Happy deal with a nice guy and get most of my investment out of it.

Just touching base here to say that I really appreciate all the help folks on this part of the forum have offered over the last several months, as I got the vehicle up to speed. Great community.

Thanks John. I am enjoying the new rig! Getting VA emissions and safety inspection then will try to carry the torch in making this Suburban the envy of my pals.

It was a great ride back from the border where I met Anne and John at the Huddle House.

I will try to keep the thread updated. Trying to explore the beast a bit this week.
