I just started to build up my new desert rig. its a 2000 f-250 ccsb with the v-10 and 3.73...kinda wish it had the 4.10 or 4.30's.

I put 285 on it with some cheaper rims from 4wparts (well the cheapest alum black rims in 17" flavor) was able to sell my stock tires for 300 so I was only out bout 300 on the rims ( i already had the 285 tires)

anyhoo..
I put on some stock F350 blocks in the rear, and ran new HD f-350 front springs (snow plow springs) It lifted the rear 1 3/4" and the front came up 2"... I am very happy the way it turned out... also with the new monroe magnum shocks it rides well on the highway.

I'll try and post pics and give you measurements before and after Tomm if you like.

Well progress is being made in small steps. I have had the truck out every weekend. 35" tiers are a must if i get hung up on my giant diffs one more time ill flip out. Most of it has been snow trips. Witch do not help the low clearance . My self and a friend from the Toyota side went up and rescued my wifes truck. So now I have.2 to build up. It helped me find the week spots tires are a must . So do i go 4:56 4:88 or 5:13 . I'm leaning to 4:88 i know me and i won't stop at 35s . They will be fine then ill want 6" icon springs and 38" tiers .

Have you considered shaving your differentials, relocating your shock mounts, and just cleaning up the undercarriage in general? Much cheaper than bigger tires, and will still benefit you when you do move up in tire size.

I am not too familiar with the super duty diffs, as my 2005 f350 v10 with a Dana 80 & 60 is new to me, but this is a very popular mod for older Chevys with the 14 bolt.

I have thought about that very much. I also need to increase flotation. We will be moving to Az soon. More sand and lose rock.

Got a sweet deal on a winch. Warn ce m12000. It has some issues but the price was great. The motor works great the cable is broken and one of the cross bars is broken. It appears to need one or 4 of the sononoieds. I also have to build a mount.
