I'm very impressed with the '16 on 35's with the 4.10 gears, it's almost like it was made for the buyer who planned to lift and install bigger tires. But I do have one problem, the TPMS sensors don't recognize the jeep as the '16s are on the '10 and vice versa. I'm guessing I'll have to make a trip to the tire shop to get everything swapped around but maybe it's as simple as a reflash at the dealer. I'll have to dig around unless someone knows the answer.
I also have 4.10s, and I agree 100%. I definitely think the gear set was offered explicitly for those who are planning to build the Jeep, which is one of the only options I was looking for in my search (bought used). I found l was way over geared stock, and I actually got a speeding ticket the second day I owned my JK because it was just too much fun blasting up to about 45mph...in a 30 zone unfortunately. It felt perfect to me with the 35s adjusted with the Procal, and now that I'm on a light 37" tire I still feel like it performs very well. My wife took the Jeep yesterday and loved how it drove and thought it had lots of power still (her daily driver is a 2012 Honda Civic however lol). After building mine, I feel like the sweet spot setup for the JKUR is 2.5" lift with 35s or 3.5" with 37s.
