Sweet. :)

I had 285/65R16 Toyo M/T's on mine and they rubbed in a baddie area. Just curious how a decent cut looks like.:lurk:

Not sure if it's a decent cut or not, but it works for me... Boy I really need to get my rockers Herculined.

How do you have the light wired?

Here is where I drilled into the side of the plastic rack mount. I fed the wiring through here and then through a hole I drilled underneath, into the cab area. From there it was easy to run it down the headliner and molding along the door down to the dash. Both holes have a grommet and waterproof silicone sealant to prevent leakage.

Running the wiring along the basket was also pretty easy. I just bundled it all in wire loom, taped it, and then ran it along the length of the rack. Held by wire ties. From the ground it is all hidden.

Yea, that looks good. Looks like you did the same as me notched it where the inner wall ends, and then trimmed. I put the door edge on it so that there would not be a sharp metal edge if the tires did make contact.

I'm still waiting for my switches to show up (4x4mods.com). But I will be putting them underneath the radio in the three blank switch spaces I have. I don't have VDC, or hill decent and whatever else goes next to them. So I have 3 blank switch spots rights next to my locker switch. I will get a pic whenever they show up though.

I tried my hardest yesterday when I took it out to get it to rub by running my wheel up on a good sized rock, and then turning the wheel to see if I could get it to rub. It wasn't even close. But then again I've got 30,000 miles on these tires. When it comes time to replace them I will be doing some more trimming I'm sure.

Good idea running through the rack. I had contemplated that but eventually took the rack off for less noise and resistance. Maybe someday I'll follow that trail.

Thanks! And yes I'm available any weekend. Just let me know I'll plan on it.

On the bottom of the AT can holders there are two screw holes. I just got some decent sized sheet metal screws from Home Depot mounted them up. I might drill another hole for no other reason than peace of mind because it feels pretty solid right now.

Instead of sheet metal screws I have two ammo cans mounted with bolts. Sturdy for sure. If you do a lot of wheeling, I think bolts might be better.

It looks like the cans fit pretty loosely in the AT holders. Do they tend to rattle around on rough roads and make a bunch of noise? Im interested in some sort of hold down system for mine and the AT stuff looks to be great quality.
