Chilli, Yes I welded em. I was a welder in a past life a few years ago. I had 3 certs. BTW what are you drinkin?

Rot, If I wasn't so busy this week I go snag it and flip it for some extra beer money. But I gotta get my 93 put together for the old man, he smoked the Getrag in his D350.

Heres a couple other welding projects I've done for people.

This was all stick welded. HO72 from a 67 Chevy into a 1stgen puller. I welded all spring perches and traction bar mounts.

Heres a Hitch on the same truck I welded together. The Hitch on the truck was all MIG and the reciever was all stick.

Hey happy birthday man! I will lift a beer in celebration as well.

Do you ever come across any stock 6" blocks in your junk yards? I need a set for my truck and I am finding it impossible to get a hold of any. I have a 3" and I considered using a 4.75" from a 2nd gen but they have wider springs than our 1st gens.

Well, I have a set sort of but they were promised to another guy, But I could probably scrounge a set up for you. I think I got a set of 4" floatin around though.

Thanks but I don't think the 4" is big enough. If I have to I will run a 4" and a ez-inch but the last time I had my truck loaded down the back end sat about 3" lower than the front so I would prefer a 6". If you could keep an eye out for me I would appreciate it!

It seems like ya'll have more of these trucks sitting around than we do down here in Alabama. The local yard just crushed the last older dodge I have seen too.

Thing is a few come through the yards but I'm pretty lucky I'm in a pretty good circle of guys localy that deal in Cummins stuff and 1stgens and travel to get them and 1stgen parts. I'm usually just a phone call away from whatever I need.

BTW whats your budget to spend on a set?

Well had a little carnage this weekend at a truck pull. Broke a traction bar mount and then the axle proceded to wrap up hard breaking the pass side spring perch and bending the drivers side. Today was spent repairing the damage.

Well today we decided to dig into the A/C. Last October it quit working on my way back from Indiana.

Anyhoo we found the compressor to be real weak and leaking. So I slapped on a good used low mile compressor some fresh O-rings and gaskets and now I just gotta vac it down and charge it up with some R12.

Well on my way home from a pull last night i splattered a deer with my 90. Bent the bumper and the tie rod other than that and a big bloody mess nothing is too bad. Hit it just left f the center n the drivers frame horn, I think thats what save the sheet metal.

Yup, that's a dead deer alright... You might post a "PG" rating on those pics:elkgrin: Funny that I am just heading up to the cat shop to see what I have to mod to make my big winch bumper fit.
