We captured 28 hours of HD footage on this expedition. This took quite a bit of time to preview, log and capture, then edit down to approx 8.5 hours of the best. That gave us the footage to put together a "Rough Cuts" version approx. 120 minutes. It's looking amazing.
We are in the "Final Cut" editing stage, fine tuning 120 minutes to 60-90 minutes with narration, soundtrack, titles, including behind the scenes footage.

I plan on doing this trip with my nissan frontier one of these days. Quite an amazing adventure.
Just thinking about gas prices and wha they are today. I'm looking at $2500 worth of gas. Not to mention food, supplies, and shelter. man o man. time to start saving my pennies.
This gives me some good idears though. Thanks for posting such an amazing event.

Sorry, no update on the complete DVD, but segments are starting to air on the SPEED channel.
