Got my Old Man Emu springs and ProComp shocks in today. Rode great on the way home and I'm more than happy with the result. Here are some pics

Awesome!!!! looks great, as it makes it all come together 👍. How much lift did you get compared to advertised???! What is the distance between the ground and fenders over the tire front and rear????

I had OME lift on my discovery and it rode extremely comfortable.

Thanks! I haven't done exact measurements yet but they're advertised as 2.5" and I probably netted a little more as I got the HD springs. That's a nice looking Disco. I'd love to have one someday.

Spare yourself the headache my friend. Some dreams are meant to stay dreams. Enjoy your jeep and don't look back.

One thing that the Land Rover community thought me, is a more mature approach to modifying a vehicle for offroading and overlanding. No overdoing anything and doing stuff moderately and intelligently is the Land Rover way to see things. Heck, they do the camel trophy and G4 expeditions on vitrually stock vehicles.

I am pleasently surprised that you seem to have that maturity already and would have been a great Rover owner. But as said, look ahead and not back. Unless you like to constantly fix stuff, enjoy using a jeep rather than fixing a Rover.

Haha yeah I hear ya... I've wanted a Disco since I was a kid but I know nothing about them. If I had the means and extra space I would buy an old one just to toy around with. What are you driving now?

2013 JKUR 10th anniversary, triple anvil with the red leather. After leaving over 20 years of driving jeeps and being spoiled in Land Rover and then Volvo (xc90) comfort, my wife convinced me to come back to convertible jeeps. So I decided to get the very best wrangler money could buy in 2013.

Sorry for my late response but your rig looks great!

5/8/15 update: JKU is in the shop today getting a JKS adjustable front trackbar installed and an alignment.

My rig is running solid after the trackbar install and alignment. It drives nice and straight and not "flighty" or "wavy". Takes turns much better too and I'm impressed as it has never rode so well especially now since I lifted it and put on the bigger tires.

Tonight I just ordered a Midland 75-822 CB and Firestick antenna. Will be waiting as patiently as possible. Updates to follow.

CB is installed along with the Firestik. I set these up a few weeks ago and kept getting a high SWR reading. Messed around with it today and found that I had a bad ground. Now I'm reading 1.2 on both channel 1 and 40. I'll get some better pics tomorrow but here is how I mounted the radio

Here are some more pics of the antenna, a flashlight I mounted inside and of an iphone mount.

Man, lots of really cool mods!
I like the CB mic hanger. Hadn't seen one like that before. Very small and clean.
Jeep looks great, and I'm betting it works as good as it looks. Nice!
