So addressing the question I had last post, will 35's fit with a 10" rim, or does it need to be on an 8" wide? What backspace works best as well if I can do 10"?
Initially 15x10" w/ -44mm offset but that rubbed enough (on the inside of the fender as well as the rear outside fender area where the plastic flare is) that I swapped to a 15x8. Plus the narrower rim was safer when dropping pressure. Less likelyhood off the tire coming off. If you're stuck on those wheels, I'd find some spacers to play with the offset to see if you can get it to fit better under full articulation.8" OR 10" wide?
The rims are Staun TX-1, and will eventually have the Staun internal double beadlock/runflat if I run them successfully clearance wise.Initially 15x10" w/ -44mm offset but that rubbed enough (on the inside of the fender as well as the rear outside fender area where the plastic flare is) that I swapped to a 15x8. Who here has replaced their 3 way electronic controlled shocks with conventional shocks? Differences noticed?
I wonder how they compare to a Ford 9" or Dana 60 which the 3.5 rear diff sits comfortably between in terms of the actual r&p size. Our rear diff also had the least amount of ground clearance compared to other SUVs of the same era.
