Custom Poly Water Tanks, Sources?

Ok, with the help of searching this forum I have found the following sources for water tanks.
It took awhile to find these so I thought I would put them in one place for anyone else that is looking.
I am not doing this out of the goodness of my heart, I need a water tank, so if you know of any good sources feel free to post them up.:sombrero:

Thanks,
Kevin R.

All-Rite RV Supply in Hollister, CA made a custom 3/8" welded ploy water tank (38 gallons) to my specs for my off road trailer. They did a very nice job, prices were reasonable, and it has held up well for over five years. I would go back to them for any further needs.

There are specialty shops out there that do "Plastic Welding". Might try the yellows to see if there's one near you. Had the guy local to me build a windshield squirter reservoir on the YJ from Hell project.

I've tried the Harbor Frieght "plastic welder." A friend bought it. I'm glad it was his money & not mine.

Cool, good info, thanks for the review for all-right.
I would be careful to make sure that the plastic welding place knows if you want drinking water or not, but good idea.

Actually they are almost unbelievable, have you ever done a side by side comparison to other tanks? Decent wall thickness? The fittings and layout look the same as some others I have seen, not necessarily basing a decision on price (definitely do not want it to spring a leak) but they do have the size I am looking for.

Hi Kevin, the price is the reason I jumped on it first, they also have over 100% positive feedback (out of like 8,000) so I figured it was worth the risk. I honestly dont have anything to compare it to, but it seems to be built plenty sturdy enough for me. I went with the 16 gallon tank. It will be going under my truck where my spare was, and I was planning on building a skid plate for it for purther protection.

Not sure how to tell if it is comparable to others, but I have it here with me (I havent installed it yet), if you need any specific pictures, just let me know.

I just walked out to the Garage to look at it since its been a while since Ive actually messed with it, and it has "Performance Plastics" "Part number 386" molded into the sides of the tank.

I looked for them online and found this www.performanceplasticsllc.com There is also www.performanceplastics.com , but I think the first is the right company.

Looks like a pretty knowledgable and legit company. It looks to be well made, and short of slamming a sharp rock or stump into it, I think it will be just fine. I have no way of seeing how thick the walls are, but I laid it down sideways and felt pretty comfortable sitting on it (I weigh 300 pounds). That test usually does it for me..... :)

stumptaco, thanks for the info, and the "test"

I am going to recheck my dimensions and look through the websites again tonight, time to make a decision, hard to beat 1/2 price though.....
