Finalizing the little details. We should be picking up the Cruiser on Tuesday of next week.
The Outback transformer is in and working perfectly. We now have a 240V induction cook top.
We did a Facetime walk through of the Cruiser the other day so they could show us a few more details. We didn't know how the small counter extensions would operate but they have them spring loaded so you just push it in a bit and the extension comes sliding out. Pretty neat.

Shore hookup compartment located at rear of drivers side.
Just waiting for all of the decals and instruction labels to be applied.
This houses our shore power, grey tank drain switch, 110V outlet, cable and satellite connections, water tank fill and water tank pressure city line. It also houses a connection so we can draw water via a pump from a stream or water jug from Walmart, through a filter and into the fresh water tank. The potable water is filtered again below the sink.

The black circle in the floor of the compartment is a boat hull access port. When the port cover is removed this will allow us to feed hoses or cables/cords out the hole and remain plugged in to shore hookups and still be able to close and lock the compartment door.

Java, once we pick up the Cruiser at ITB it is off to see Mark at Lite. Mark will be installing the front bumper and making sure the tires/wheels will fit. Then it is off to Saskatoon to have the final settings done on the air suspension and the shocks cjhanged over to the Kings. We would love to make a trip right away but our son plays hockey and is in his last year. He tore his MCL in his knee three weeks ago so he is hoping the team lasts long enough in playoffs so that he is healed enough to return. We are staying put until his team runs it's course. (They are ranked #1 in the country so hopefully have a long playoff run). If they make it to the final it is in Halifax mid March. After that we will hit the road some where. Probably a nice trip to Vancouver/Victoria to see how it runs then possibly a trip north in April. Same son is getting married in June so we have to be available for things like wedding showers etc. Hopefully make it down to Expo in May.

Ward,

Is it too much to ask to have a private Portland (few ExPo members) showing as you make your way down south? :)

Jeremy, we will have to see about that but it is a great idea. We may make a trip west in which case for sure we will let everyone who cares know.

Other than that our trip to Expo takes us through MT, ID UT so no PNW on that trip.

A frustrating update today. It seems that our hot water boiler ( Oasis Zephyr) seems to be fighting with our plumbing. Something to do with the temperature sensing / pressure balancing technology that is in new plumbing faucets is fighting with the thermostat in the boiler. Here's hoping they can get it figured out.
Has anyone run in to this with a Webasto?

I have an instant hot water system in the house and it HATES the low flow faucets. Will not allow it to fire as the flow is not there, solution I found is to take out the strainer/limiter and drill out the holes to allow more flow on each faucet. Not sure if this is your issue or not. Hopefully they get it solved for you.

Thanks for the tip.
Possibly then the pumps we are using are not creating enough flow pressure as well for the boiler to fire. I will have them check that as well

Tell them to remove the strainer and try it then and see what happens.

On edit - Okay this was suppose to be on the previous post?? What happens when you have 6 computers running at the same time, you forget what you replied to :)

hello Ward, would you mind stating what tire and size you are running on those Hutcinsons?

I saw the pic of the spare tire, but I can;t make up which one that is?
Thanks,

Bart
