Scott, what are you going to use as a part truck? It's gonna be hard to haul in the back of the disco. Time for a beater. Suggestion, '79 Ford short bed with mismatched body panels, cool faded paint patina and a set of vintage rims.

Mark, you are so right!

I am selling our faithful Trooper, which has been used in that capacity for years. I think either a Mahindra diesel, 1985 Toyota P/U or 109 Series III LR is in my future ;) (I know, those options are all over the map).

This is a sad day for the Tacoma community. I'll go out on a limb and say your truck has been a major influence on many people's decision to purchase and build their Tacoma. Seeing what you've done with your Tacoma over the years has been a huge indirect marketing boost for Toyota trucks. Toyota should have been paying you big $$ for your work.

I'll second that. I have always loved the pre '05 Tacos but it was seeing the Expeditions West Taco that pushed me over the edge and resulted in my buying an '03 "expo" white DC Taco :D Very inspirational rig (it and all the others around here). I'm not a big Jeep fan, having been raised in a Toyota LC family, but I am looking forward to the new build. So much of what goes into any of these brands is cross platform applicable, and its just fun to see what you guys can come up with. Keep on keepin on!

In my best Homer Simpson voice... "mmmmm... Mahindra...!!!!"
Then again, the 109 would be a very cool parts runner as well, maybe not practical, but cool.

I was really looking for something with 3 cup holders, but......no vehicle is perfect. Then again, not many cup holders have seperate lighting switches.

Good luck selling it. I'm sure there will be no shortage of buyers. I'm equally sure the new owner will have the smarts to see all of the beautiful work you've done and not change a thing save for the plates.

Thanks again for letting me take her for a spin.

Actually with the rear seats installed, it should have 4 cup holders already. You have no reason now :p

Have the decals been removed or is that something the new owner would have to deal with?

Here you go..

That is a very good question. The answer is "mostly" and to the new buyers desire. I must take off most of the sponsorship decals, per my contracts with them. Some of the EW specific decals are a little weathered, etc. so they will come off.

The truck looks very cool in plain white. Very safari ;)

Yeah, I guess I should read all the posts first.... I was curious as to the paint and if the decals had been removed are there shadows where they were, and if there are shadows, will rubbing compound take them off.

I can't believe you are letting her go!

Talk about 1-stop shopping for anyone who buys it... they'll never have to add anything to it!

35K is a bargain!
