Good expedition platform for a rookie?

Thanks everyone. It is a SR5 with the 3.4 auto. No locker, but I figure with the price I paid I can just add an ARB later if I feel I really need it. The first priority was just to get transportation. It has 138k miles and it seems tighter than my wife's '03 RAv4 and my old '06 Grand Vitara. The truck just feels tough, like it can't come apart.
Yeah, those floorboards are coming off soon. Also, I am thinking about replacing the rusty back bumper but I want to search for some aftermarket options first. I haven't found anything yet but I can't afford anything yet. The good news is I have a lead on a job (knock on wood). My wife and I have been living on her paycheck ever since my old biz started to falter, so we know we can survive on that salary. My salary will feel like a bonus after the last couple years.
Tomorrow we are heading over to her dads to detail the 4Runner. Maybe I can get her dad to take his Tacoma off the highway this year.
