Thanks Mate. The bars are Renthal Fatbars 609 RC High.
My clutch seems very solid, should he able to adjust the clutch at the cable down by the clutch arm.

Great write up (as we would expect from you!). Really liked the headlamp mod as well. This thread is a keeper for so many reasons regarding my own T-dub.

Thanks Mate, I enjoy doing write ups and always hope they inspire/help others in theor own builds. I got my LED bulb in for the race light today so I'll get that installed soon and give it a try.

Got the TW's out for a New Year's Eve Ride and had a blast up above the fog. New suspension worked awesome!

Flashing LED Tail Light
This is a simple and quick mod that adds safety by flashing the brake light before going solid ever time the brakes are applied. The flashing light does a great job of grabbing drivers attention that your coming to a stop, and on the street visibility is a good thing. I've ran these kind of flashers on most of my previous street bikes but they have always been a dedicated flasher unit you had to wire into the bike. I found these LED bulb replacements on Amazon with the flasher built into the bulb...Nice, plug and play!
Install is as easy as changing the rear tail light bulb. Swapping the incandescent bulb out for the LED unit also lowered power consumption by .4 amps. The bulbs were $14.50 for a two pack...not bad.

Walk through of the GL tank bag on the TW.
I was asked a couple questions recently about the GL tank bag that I use, such as how easy is it to fill the fuel tank and remove the bag. I've ran GL bags for years and love them, they work great and hold up really well.
I made up a short video showing the function of the GL setup here:
And a few pics.
I have power ran into the tank bag and charge phones, camera and drone batteries while I ride. The SAE to USB charger is 3.4 amps per channel.

In the rear pouch I keep my wireless heat troller and the connection for my heated gear.
The bag is zipped to a base that is strapped to the bike. To remove the bag just unzip on both sides. To fuel up just unzip one side and flop the bag over to get access to the fuel cap.

Chubby Buttons: Glove friendly audio controls....and a custom mount.
I like to listen to music through my helmet on longer rides and have a Sena 20S set up but I've always found using the helmet controls a pain to scroll through music...especially with winter gloves on.
Enter "CHUBBY BUTTONS"...a wireless, weatherproof, glove friendly solution that works brilliantly. I've used these buttons while riding my Onewheel for a couple years now and love it.
Now to fabricate a mount to hold the Chubby Buttons on my handle bar clamps, within easy reach when I want to change volume or switch Tunes...even with gloves

The Chubby Button Unit. It's light weight with good sized rubber buttons.
I'll make the mount to fit under the GPS, on top of the handle bar clamps.
I'm making the mount out of a piece of 6061T6 Aluminum flat bar.
An aluminum cut off blade makes quick smooth cuts.
Here I'm using a washer to lay out some radius corners. I'll use a jig saw to cut them out.
Test fitting...yep this should work.
Drilling the holes I'll use to run snap ties through and secure the Chubby Buttons to the mount.

I used painters tape to keep the aluminum bare on the back side where I'll apply 3M VHB tape to attach the mount to the bar clamps.
Applying and trimming the 3M VHB Mounting Tape to the back side of the mount.
Using snap ties to attach the Chubby Buttons to the mount.
Metal surfaces were cleaned with alcohol then I used a heat gun to warm up the metal for good adhesion....warm not hot.

Awesome build! Def going to check out that Antigravity battery and flashing brake light for my own bike.
Guessing so? Might be chilly there so it's either those or Hippo Hands.

I love the TW build, but what are the details on the old Beamer? I had a 1961 50/2 that I restored, I sold it because I liked looking at it more than riding it but they still turn my head every time I see one.
