I took advantage of Baja Designs Black Friday promotion and ordered some LP4's on their A-Pillar mounts for the truck. I also picked up a set of LP4's for the front bumper on the Can Am and some Squadron's for the rear of the cab on the Can Am to be used to light up the bed and assist the backup lights. Looking forward to getting all of that installed.

Good scores! I bet those will come in handy. Can't wait to see them installed.

I finally got ThumperFab Elite Rock Sliders installed on the Defender. I really like how lo-pro these are, just enough to be used as a step but narrow enough so that they don't get in the way.

Baja Designs LP4's for the front bumper on the Defender, Squadron Sports will go on the back corners of the cab to light up the bed and the immediate area around the backside of the UTV at night when loading. I had enough "fun" with the dome light install for one day so the rears will have to wait lol.

OEM Can Am LED dome light for the rear seats to match the front row.

I finally got a few missing pieces so that the slider install could finally be completed on the passenger side. I also made some time to get the front and rear lights wired in along with associated switches on the dash. Baja Designs LP4's on the front and Squadron Sports on the back of the cab.

While wiring the lights up wasn't very difficult, the running of the wires behind panels, through braces, frames, rear glass, etc. made for a "fun" install. I am really digging this SxS, I jokingly call it the Mini MRAP.

I finally got around to relocating the plate and plate light on the trailer to the removable fender with a QD connection. It always feels good to be able to ditch the awful low hanging mount they come with.

I installed the MarqCAD CanAm AC line guards as well. It's beyond me why they don't come with these from the factory.

This ugly thing has been lying around for nearly half a year now so I figured I should install it and give it a shot. Not gonna lie, it's growing on me rather quickly. This should help cut down on the rock chips/dings and bugs.

A few more adds to the Defender.

Trail Icon center stack molle panel for the Garmin Tread I plan to install. I also installed the MarqCAD Engineering short shifter with gated overlay panel in order to create the room needed for the Garmin atop the panel.

Trail Icon center console molle adaptive kit. This allows you to set the center console at any height you like, both right side up to use the cup holders and upside down to utilize it as a cushioned arm rest all while still allowing you to stow it away completely.

Lastly is the Trail Icon under seat gun mount. This uses Kolpin Rhino Grips attached to an under seat molle panel. The angle of the panel and the grips is adjustable as is the height of the grips. It gives you a pin in order to lock the seat in the upright position and the grips clear the floor when closed in order to allow you to use the center seat with it stowed away and hidden from sight.

I have a set of King 2.5's from Accu-Tune with their custom Adventure Tune on the way. After talking it over with a few friends that have both I felt like the Kings were the way for me to go for a couple of reasons. 1)They are cheaper than the Fox by nearly $700/set, 2)They have a slightly softer ride on road, and 3)Their adjusters are easier to get to, especially in the rear.

The Fox's have more adjustability, not something I necessarily need but it would be nice. The Fox have aluminum bodies so they would likely hold up better over time to road grime/debris, but seeing how I am in the south winter road salts aren't a factor which is the biggest issue with the King steel bodies. Shafts seem to be wash for a number of reasons so I didn't let that impact my decision all that much.

Both will likely require rebuilds every few years or 40-50K miles so I plan to keep my current Fox 2.0's to swap back on for when the King's need to go in for an overhaul. I have been pleased with the Fox 2.0's but in the last few months the rears have started to get a little rougher in terms of compression. I have had them on the truck for 1.5 years and 25K+ miles now so I am not surprised that they might be beginning to show some performance degradation. That said, they show no signs of leaks or failure.

I have owned both King and Fox 2.0/2.5's in the past so I have very little bias between the two, that said, I hope that I made the right decision in the long run.

When you send in your coil overs and shocks, do you just put another set on so you can still drive the vehicle? If yes, do you get an alignment while you drive it. I think my Fox 2.5's need to be rebuilt and have never had them serviced. So starting to think through the process. I still have the OEM gear.

Yes, I will keep the Fox 2.0's for that very reason. I see no reason to realign for a shock swap, a temporary one at that.
