Just got a silver 4-dr sahara, very interested in this type of stuff....keeping tabs on this Phoenix PULSE concept....and all other prototypes looking to make production....

Love this idea! I know there probably isn't a big enough market for it, but would love something like for my YJ also. However a JK is in the future so maybe by then the tops will have gained in popularity.

I've recently finished a modular hardtop project for the LJ, and I've also designed a JK version and in the future may the JK molds, but for the LJ guys... with the LJ molds I've made, the modular parts could possibly be used to build either a flip-up top or a top that raises vertically. Here's a photo of a set of rough parts just out of the mold:

And a finished top (not built as a camper though):

I don't have the interest in building a camper top out of these parts, but if there's a camper company interested in working with the molds and these parts to build a camper with a pop-up or vertical lift roof, something could possibly be worked out.
