Trip report from going down to the MOORE expo a couple weeks ago.
https://mooreexpo.com/ We stayed at SMORR Due to rather limited cargo room in the Bronco and rather limited seating in the Ranger... we did the right thing and just drove both. We struck off Thursday after work with the plan to hit Lee's Summit (east of Kansas City) for the night. That...

I picked this up a year ago, going to take it on a maiden voyage this weekend.
We were thinking it would be nice to have something for longer trips with the Bronco, with a family everything runs out of room so fast. I managed to snag this for a good deal, its a 1965 Apache Silver Buffalo. I have the Skamper that will fit in either truck but it isn't super effective for family offroad trips or really offroading in general. Its also kind of a PITA to take in/out (well really the topper that is in its way is the bigger PITA but it is all once and the same project) Ranger is a 2 seater and my F-150 isn't really set up for offroading so really it isn't much of a solution. The Apache is light enough anything can pull it (guy I got it from pulled it to Canada twice with a Chevy Celebrity) Not the end-all for everything but I think once I get the road cover replaced it will be nice to have. Right now I have everything packed in it for a weekend aside from clothes and bedding, really takes the load off cramming everything in a vehicle... especially one gaining a second little passenger in a couple weeks. Very basic, basically just a tent on wheels. A big bed on each end and a booth/table that makes into a bed. No power, no plumbing... just lots of room.
