That was a rare treat! I've hiked and snowshoed those areas but never officially driven!

They get way too much vandalism up at the Ski Resort is what they were saying. It's never been open in my lifetime and the older people can't EVER remember it being open in theirs either. Talking to the volunteers it will never be open in the future either. Sad, cause its a beautiful route with some breath taking views.

SO jealous. I would love to see it without snow and knowing I drove up there has to be a weird feeling!
