My first post here, thanks for starting the thread, great truck!! You've inspired me to register. Hey, we're Yota brothers, here's my '93' as purchased a couple years ago:

I too would like to know what size tire you are running. They look like a good fit. My youngest daughter and I are planning a two week trip up into the Canadian Rockies this summer and since I need tires, I'm trying to determine what to get. I have a set of what look like the same stock skinny steel wheels as you that I'd like to use:

Thanks, Greg
I don't want to hijack your thread, but since you asked, here's a couple more pics.
And I really like your camper. I need to find one like that. The aluminum camper that was on mine just fell apart
I agree, you do need to find one, you'll love it!!. It's an older fiberglass Snugtop, I suspect it was purchased when the truck was fairly new and designed for this truck as the front angle matches the back of the cab. The few inches of extra height make a huge difference for climbing in and out, the flush sides are perfect for the Thule rack mounts, and the underside is lined so no condensation!!

Other than a new timing chain and water pump, that's about all I've done with it.
If you are willing to move up to 16s there are a lot more options for tires in the 30 to 32" size, skinnier and wider, whatever you like. I think 235 85 R16 would look great, not sure if you need a lift for that though.
Thanks for the consideration. Like most anybody, I too like the look of big meaty tires and was originally thinking along these lines but for practical purposes have decided for now to go the other way instead. The tires on the Tubby Xplorer don't look very big and they sure get around.
Your truck is CLEAN!!!!! Did the seats just bolt right in or did you have to fab some mounting brackets? I like the idea of having separate seats and possibly a center console
I like to keep it reliable and simple.
