New Adventure Bike...from Trek!

Meh. Screams "I'm trying too hard." 15mmTA/142 really necessary on a gravel bike? Give me good ol' easy to find QR's.

I'd take a Vaya, Straggler, Soma Disc (can't remember the model) over that Trek.

It looks like a fine bike for more rugged touring. I'd rather have a Fargo though. I'm curious about the geometry of the Trek. It looks a little more road bike oriented and less off-road friendly.

Proceeding on...
I have always found Trek's frames are a good fit for me. I think the collective reasoning is what were called "gravel bikes" last year are now being branded "adventure bikes". More "off-pavement" than "off-road".

To that end, as my experience last week revealed to me, the fat bike is good on all surfaces.

Trek rep at the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival said the 920 would be available in February.

Ride safe,
Hans
