I did part of that back in 1997. Wonderful hike, a lot of the old El Camino Real from there over to Gonzaga Bay has been wiped out by erosion & rock slides. You still might be able to use a lower trail in the bottom of the canyon, but would require boulder hopping & or some deep water crossing. When are we going?

Yes, I've read some of David K's info and other posts on Baja Nomad regarding the canyon and the old Camino Real, etc. It looks like an epic Baja canyoneering experience. It's on my list of "to do"s. :costumed-smiley-007
