Welcome vandam, that's a rad setup, pretty similar to what I'd like to do mine. Whistler is an amazing place, I finally made it up
There this last summer to bike, and I was not disappointed. Beautiful area, and van

Some of my favorite ER Docs are at the Whistler Clinic!

Damn Java, thats a not a ski van, thats a mobile chalet!

Here's my little '04 Astro AWD. It's lifted 4" and mildly camperized. I'm about to do a more drastic interior remodel so I can cook inside on ski trips, we'll see how it turns out...

Great looking van! Nice color, too. Could you share some photos of your interior setup?

Thanks guys! I got it in April and have pretty much been working on it non stop but hopefully I'm done with the big stuff. Lesson learned: be prepared for a messy can of worms if you try to lift a mini van with 140k on the clock!

Like I said, the interior is spartan right now. The convenient thing about these vans is the middle bench fold parallel to the floor so if you just add a platform behind it you can haul 5 people and sleep 2. This is my daily driver so I need to keep the ability to haul buddies around, plus its fun to pick up hitch hikers in this thing!

I designed the platform to fit the cooler and several milk crates, everything nests nicely

I'm trying to build a sideways bed platform to make room for an indoor kitchen, I'll probably start this weekend since the snow is starting to get pretty worthless around here

Coming damn near "finishing" At least the primary systems. We were tossed up between this one, A sprinter, or a new ford transit. We chose the NV2500!
