Got out for some winter fun this afternoon... Added a whole lot of Rocky Mountain pin striping and cracked the passenger side mirror when I brushed up a little too close to a birch tree.

Yes,4". 99 Dana 50 with 03+ unit bearings to match the lug thread on the 03 Sterling rear. Add a leaf with a 3" block. 42 and 3/4 to top side of the wheel opening. Thanks.

Hahahaha, I had help getting it in there; unloading solo was an experience...
Best part was the price.... $150 and a couple of my lamps that I make! Woot!!!
Missing rotors, calipers, and steering links but I can live with that for the price. Also will need a re-gear being 3.73...

Man you can throw this thing into corners. Blows my mind!

I was surprised by that too! Hey, do you think the 5" backspace on your wheels helps tighten up your turning radius any? I used 4.5" on mine. I noted your earlier comment that you're really satisfied with your turning radius. I'm still getting used to the slightly wider than stock turning radius on my 4" lift 4wd conversion. Looks like I have room to go to 5" backspace wheels if I wanted.

5" backspacing will make it worse, bring the tires in closer to the frame. Less backspacing will make the wider and help a bit but I think your van is already using up all the steering it can (tires not hitting the springs, steering stops not touching)

Bingo! Break in ride after a rebuild and some time off from riding. I have been enjoying the van too much these last few years with family :smiley_drive:. Time to start riding again and enjoying the van and the motos.

When I was first dating my wife back in the 90s, she and her family taught me how to ride dirt bikes there...
I need to get my XR650R back up and riding and get back to the desert again myself.
