I finally took care of those useless stock headlights on my van...I can't believe the difference!

They're HID conversions from Vantage Optics. Redoval is an expo member who makes them, and also did the install. I knew I needed better lights, but I would never have imagined that it would be this much better.

(snowing again, sigh, come on summer) I love the space inside vans and the adventure van concept but hate the way they look stock, too "church groupish." I love the way 4WD vans look and here in Colorado what we need most of the time on our solid stone back roads is simple clearance to get to some great camping. I don't always want to take the big 4WD van, have been working on some smaller, cheaper, lighter rigs but still want the "look" and the clearance. This 3/4 toner drives and handles great with 265/75/16 Toyos muds, feels big in the cab, corners way better but it has not been easy and the long term drivetrain component effects are yet to be seen... am lifting the rear another inch tomorrow, then shocks, winch, lights, roof rack, rocket box and grill guard. Deep sand and mud aside, should be able to access some great back country and with 10 plys not have to sweat the sidewalls on the rocks.

Back to a van after 2 years of a pickup and slide in camper. My new to me 2003 7.3L Denver Fleet (Timberline) 4wd conversion. Looking forward to building this thing out to suit my needs.

Some updates worthy of a new picture.

Monstalinered the entire bottom of this van in charcoal grey. Then added a 2" VanCompass lift on the front! Can't wait until they have the rear portion available.

Also added a new stainless cabinet inside with a maple top to match my cabinets.
