What year truck are you referencing? I've had a wide variety of tires on my '88 over the years - up to the current 33 x 12.5 MTZs. I think that 33x10.5s on Gen 2 trucks are really good, and really don't need a lift to run them (maybe a little torsion bar tweek to set ride height level front to back)
My Montero is a 1997 LS. I'm a bit worried about rubbing with 32x11.50 on stock wheels given the LS doesn't have the 1" body lift of the SR. I guess this would also apply to 33x10.50r15.
