Post pictures of your Land Rover.

The front window is a series window, could be a Stage One V8 or just a 110 with a series window on it. Tough to say with rovers since so many parts are interchangeable.

You're right - there are many parts which are interchangeable - but the owner himself states it's a 1972 series 3 109 on his website.... and the pics confirm it's registered in the UK on an "L" suffix plate (1972/3). Basically a series truck with a Defender grille/bonnet.

Nice conversion though. :smiley_drive:

And the observation round goes to... Matt!:D

It's a 109 on parabolics, with Defender bonnet and grille to make fitting the Tdi easier, Defender doors, side windows and seats (x4), and side jerrycan lockers from a broken up ex UK MoD 110.

Apart from the engine and RM Roverdrive, it's mechanically standard.

The night before we simply threw a ground cloth down and slept out under the stars sans tent. We woke to the sound of foot steps all around us and this was what we saw. The kids thought it was the funniest thing ever. Oh the toilet seat is for my daughter, sorry, it looks kinda tacky:sombrero:
